Our latest meeting was held under the theme "Unexpected," chosen by our Toastmaster of the Morning.

As sports fans know, it is often the unexpected moments that make events like the World Cup so exciting. In the same way, our lives are full of surprises, and this meeting gave us an opportunity to reflect on those unexpected moments.

🎖 Officer Installation Ceremony

One of the highlights of the meeting was the Officer Installation Ceremony.

Starting in July, LTMC welcomes a new President. The new president delivered an inspiring speech after the installation.

What makes his journey especially meaningful is that he used to participate at a relaxed pace. Over the past year, however, he has become increasingly active in club activities, and his dedication has led him to this new leadership role. It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone with him.

The Border of Inspiration

The speaker shared stories from his visits to historical sites and reflected on the inspiration he found through those experiences.

Learning from the Shogun

The speaker spoke about health and well-being, drawing lessons from the practice of eating only until one is about 80% full.

🎲 Table Topics Session

The Table Topics session was conducted by connecting questions to the meeting theme, Unexpected.

To add an extra twist, the Table Topics Master invited participants to choose an icon first and then asked a question related to the selected icon. Because no one knew what question would follow, the session felt even more unexpected and brought plenty of creativity and laughter to the meeting.

LTMC定例会 ― Unexpected（予想外）

今回のLTMC定例会は、Toastmaster of the Morning が選んだテーマ 「Unexpected（予想外）」 のもとで開催されました。

サッカーファンならご存じの通り、ワールドカップのような大会を面白くするのは予想外の出来事です。私たちの人生もまた、思いがけない出来事に満ちています。今回のミーティングでは、そんな「Unexpected」な瞬間について考える機会となりました。

🎖 オフィサー就任式

今回のハイライトの一つは、Officer Installation Ceremony（オフィサー就任式） でした。

7月から、LTMCには新しいPresidentが就任されました。就任式の後には、力強いスピーチも披露してくださいました。

新Presidentは以前、マイペースにクラブへ参加されていましたが、この1年ほどは非常に積極的に活動されてきたそうです。その努力と貢献が今回のPresident就任につながりました。この就任を皆でお祝いできたことを嬉しく思います。

「The Border of Inspiration」

1人目のスピーカーは歴史的な場所を訪れた際の体験を紹介しながら、そこで得たインスピレーションについて語ってくださいました。

「Learning from the Shogun」

2人目のスピーカーは、「腹八分目」の習慣をテーマに、節度や自己管理の大切さを紹介しながら、より健康的な生活を送るためのヒントを共有してくださいました。

🎲 テーブルトピックス

ミーティングテーマである Unexpected に関連した質問を用意し、参加者に即興スピーチを楽しんでもらいました。

さらに今回は、参加者が最初にアイコンを選び、そのアイコンに関連した質問が出されるという工夫もありました。

どんな質問が来るのか誰にも分からないため、まさに「Unexpected」なセッションとなり、創造力あふれるスピーチや笑いが生まれました。

👥 ゲスト参加

今回は 3名のゲスト にご参加いただきました。
