Our 575th regular meeting on May 9th, 2026 was enriched by four

guests, two even online from India!

President C.E. opened the meeting, referring to this wonderful

possibility of international exchange and friendship.

The topic set by the Toastmaster of the Morning (TMoM), C.E.,

was ‚confession‘ and the Word of the Day set by the Word Master,

S.N., was ‚divulge’, meaning ‚to make private or secret

information known to others‘.

In the first prepared speech, TM M.A. talked of her memories with

her previous mentor very vividly and warmly.

The second prepared speech titled ‚My life is like riding a jet

coaster!‘ was the very first speech of our new member TM F.Y. As

the title suggests, she shared of her work life full of ups and

downs and also of her teenager son.

The Table Topics session conducted by TM Z.K. invited us to

divulge some of our secrets, a sensual movie named ‚The

hairdresser’s husband‘, ‚Authentic voice training‘ and a Japanese

sweets called ‚umaibo‘ were some key words in the speeches. All

our guests also bravely took the challenge of an impromptu

speech. Bravo!

Then the Evaluators TM H.Y. and TM M.T. both delivered an

incisive, encouraging evaluation, the one rather in the style of a

strict Championship Coach and the other rather like a Cheer

Leader.

After the overall generation TM M.A. tested us how well we

listened to each other with her Quiz.TM M.T. won the award of the Best Table Topic Speaker as well

as of the Best Evaluator, TM M.A. was the Best Speaker and TM

F.Y. received the ribbon of the Ice Breaker.

After the comments of our guests, the meeting was adjourned. One

of the guests seemed to consider joining us. Let’s see…
